Valerie Abou Chacra wins Miss Lebanon 2015 crown

Valerie Abou Chacra defeated 13 other contestants to bag the crown of Miss Lebanon 2015. She will either represent her country at the 65th edition of Miss World pageant which will take place on December 19th  in Sanya,China or 64th edition of  Miss Universe pageant which will take place on 20th December in yet to be announced American city. Valerie was crowned by the outgoing queen Miss Lebanon 2014 Sally Greige. The Pageant was hosted by Dima Sadek. The contestants wore stunning gowns by ace fashion designer Zuhair Murad’s latest collection. Zuhair also served as  one of the  nine judges of the night. Miss Lebanon 2015 contestants were Cynthia Samuel,Diana Bou Hamdan,Helene Ibrahim,Jocelyne Mosleh,Joelle Azar,Maria Tannous,Marianna Sbeity,Melissa Jabbour
Nadine Zoghbi,Nour Nasrallah,Pamela Elia,Talar Kamakian,Valerie Abou Chacra and Vanessa El Akhrass.

Miss Lebanon is a annual beauty pageant organized by Ministry of Tourism since 1991, Winner of Miss Lebanon represents her country at both Miss World & Miss Universe Pageants. If the winners fails to qualify for any of the pageant then runner up is send to compete. Despite having some of the most beautiful women in the world Lebanon’s track record is not that impressive. They have one Miss Universe crown courtesy of Georgina Rizk Miss Universe 1971.Other than that Lebanon has placed twice at Miss Universe  in 1962 courtesy of Nouhad El Cabbabe and Marcelle Herro in 1973. Lebanon has placed only five times at Miss World Pageant (1973,1975,1997,2003,2006).
