Brynn Lovett named as Miss World Malaysia 2015
Stunning Brynn Lovett was named as Miss World Malaysia 2015 at the end of the national pageant, held at Corus Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Brynn shall now compete in Miss World 2015 later this year. She stands 173 cm tall and hails from Sabah. Brynn had to battle out 18 other contestants of Miss Malaysia World 2015. She was crowned by the out going queen Dewi Liana Seriestha who was also the winner of Talent fast track at Miss World 2014 and Top 25 semi finalist.
At the same event, Serene Chai was named as 1st runner-up and Melinda Lee was named as 2nd runner-up. Brynn Lovett is a twin sister of Tracey Lovett who was a finalist at Miss World Malaysia 2014. Both the sisters are extremely talented dancers. We may expect a back to back Talent win at Miss World 2015. Miss World Malaysia organisation invited last year’s Top 3 winners to screen the girls for this year. Dato Anna Lim, franchisee owner of Miss World Malaysia seems to have known the formula of success at Miss World. She took over the franchise in 2013 where Malaysia managed to get 4th placement in Multimedia sub contest, which was won by Navneet Kaur of India. Last year, Dewi Liana knocked out Miss Scotland to win the Talent round by singing Opera at Miss World 2014 contest. She also managed to find a place in Top 25 of the contest.
As Miss Malaysia World is giving better results, our secret sources told us that many girls are shifting their focus from Miss Universe Malaysia to Miss World Malaysia contest. Because Malaysia hasn’t placed in Miss Universe since very long but at Miss World, they do have chance of placing. The least they could do is winning one sub contest or placing in them, which is not possible at Miss Universe. One of the most notable Miss Malaysia is Deborah Priya Henry who placed in finals at Miss World 2007 but failed to place in Miss Universe 2011, in spite of being a major crowd favourite.
