Meet Miss World Thailand 2015 Contestants: Miss World Thailand 2015 will take place on 15th August 2015 in Bangkok,Thailand. Winner of this pageant will represent Thailand at Miss World 2015 which will be held in Sanya, China later this year. The runner up/semi finalist with Chinese ancestry will go to Miss Chinese International 2015. 25 Thai beauties were shortlisted but 3 of them withdrew due to personal reasons. The remaining 22 will compete against each other for the crown of Miss Thailand 2015. Maeya Nonthawan Thongleng is the reigning Miss World Thailand. She entered the Top 11 of Miss World 2014 via People’s Choice award. The highest placement for Thailand at Miss World came in 1989, when Prathumrat Woramali won the third Runner-up position. Thailand has 2 continental queens’ crowns: 1989 & 1992.
