Miss USA 2015 Preliminary Evening Gown: It was a battle of elegance & sophistication as Miss USA 2015 Contestants battled it out for the last 15 spots at the Miss USA Preliminary competition, the contestants were judged in two rounds Swimsuit & Evening Gown Round. The standard this year was much better than last year, many girls wore different gowns from the Evening Gown Portraits & all of them were much better tonight than in portraits. Many girls struggled in their gowns, especially the ones who were wearing Mermaid gowns. We wish some of the girls had better make Up & hair done, We have short-listed our 5 favourite performances of the night we judged them based on their walk, gown and over all presentation.

Miss New York USA 2015~Thatiana Diaz

The Latina Glamazon: Thatiana was considered as a front runner before the actual pageant began, she faded away among the sea of beauties, but during the prelims this Latina proved that she is still in the race of Miss USA 2015. Wearing a strapless white Gionni Straccia gown, which had silver embellishment placed strategically; she finished off her look with side swept hair & beautiful earrings.

Miss Nevada USA 2015 Brittany McGowan

Miss Back to Back?: One of the most impactful performances came from the defending champions Nevada; Not only was her evening gown amazing, she worked the whole look it so well that it didn’t overshadowed her performance. Wearing a Joey Galon silver & platinum full sleeved gown which btw featured 2000 hand swing Swaroski crystals with a silver silk train, she looked FLAWLESS! I fwe hat to rank the best gowns from the Miss USA 2015 Preliminary Evening Gown competition, she would easily top.

Miss Oklohoma USA 2015 Olivia Jordan

The Disney Princess: After a rather disappointing Swim Suit performance, Miss Jordan wore a Custom Sherri Hill fuchsia pink ball gown which featured ruffles detailing on the skirt. Olivia truly had her Princess moment when she was gliding down the stairs looking like a life-like a Barbie Doll. She just nailed the Miss USA 2015 Preliminary Evening Gown round.

Miss Florida USA 2015 Ashleigh Lollie

The Suprise of the night: Ashleigh dazzled in a custom made nude Sherri Hill gown which featured a deep V neckline with intricate sequins & beadwork. Her gown somewhat reminded us of a gown worn by her predecessor at Miss USA 2014.

Miss Arizona USA 2015 Maureen Montagne

The Asian Doll: This Filipina beauty is in it to win it her simple red Sherri Hill gown with a high slit helped her move easily on stage, she can easily become the first Filipino Miss USA.

Special Mention at Miss USA 2015 Preliminary Evening Gown:

Miss Hawaii Emma Wo: Worked her White Sherri Hill gown like a pro she can easily penetrate into top 5 of Miss USA with a much better gown.

Miss Maryland Mamé Adjei: She was amazing during her evening gown presentation but her gown didn’t help her in anyway; wish she goes for something more dramatic (in a good way) during the finale.

Miss New Jersey Vanessa Oriolo: Wore a gown similar to what Miss Virgina wore in the photoshoot both of the rocked it but this gown has been used many times now.

Miss Texas Ylianna Guerra: Was epitome of grace & class in her white column gown.

Miss Virginia Laura Puleo: A special shout out to Miss Virgina for wearing Indian Designer Gaurav Gupta’s design; if the gown fitted her well she could have rocked the stage.Her whole look looked insipred by Naomi Watts Academy Awards 2013 look.
