Hannah Bado shall now have a pressure to live up to the expectations of the fans as she is already touted as one of the Top 15 finalists. The last time Gibraltar placed in finals was in 2013 where the representative was selected through public votes into Top 6.
Hannah Bado works as a primary teacher and is proud of the fact that she lives in a territory with a close-knit community despite of its diverse population. The other two girl who were as favourite as Hannah ended up 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up. Bianca Pisharello was 1st runner-up and Natalia Nunez was 2nd runner-up to Hannah.
Before winning the crown, Hannah Bado said in interview, “I dislike the constant problems we have with our neighbouring country and wish we could have better relations,”. “Becoming Miss Gibraltar would be an honor. A Miss Gibraltar should portray a range of qualities other than physical beauty. She should be an aspiring role model for others, help the community in any way possible and become a positive ambassador for her country, a range of responsibilities which I believe I can accomplish,” she concluded.
