The new Miss Guyana World is Lisa Punch.  She is 23 and a singer.  She is from Georgetown and won the crown in the same city.  She was a finalist in ABC’s Rising Star show.  She will represent Guyana at Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China in December 2015.  She has a strong shot at the Talent Fast-track event in the pageant.

She was crowned by Rafieya Husain who is now working with UNICEF.  It is to be noted that Rafieya won “Beauty with a purpose” award in Miss World 2014 and was also awarded “Queen of Carribean” title.
