It’s quite common to see a Miss India becoming leading actress in Bollywood just like Aishwariya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Lada Dutta, Juhi Chawla, Priyanka Chopra, Tanushree Dutta and the list goes on. But, how if Bollywood actresses enters into the pageants? How do you think they would do internationally? Well, here we present our Top 5 list of actress who could have brought more glory, more crowns to India, but oh well..!!!

Top 5 in reverse order

#5- Chitrangada Singh:

Chitrangada Singh is into her 37^th year and the beauty blooms like any experienced Model. Chitrangada got famous in her first movie itself,  Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi which got her various nomination for best actress. In our opinion, if Chitrangada was to be sent to some pageant, we would have sent her to Miss Universe. She is tall, she is bold, she is hot and she is intelligent, this is what exactly Miss Universe Organisation looks into their winner. She has very matured sense of styling and her smiles can lit lamps. Her chiselled bone structure would have been very well appreciated by the western public. She has good ramp skills as well and would have kick the butts of Latinas if she was competing on that stage of Miss Universe. Winning may not have been guaranteed but she would probably have put India in Top 5 court.

#4-Diana Penty:

This girl needs no introduction as the present generation must have seen her in debut movie, Cocktail for which she also managed to bag Best Debut Actress award and many nominations in film awards. This girl was rumoured to be entering Miss India 3 years back and brought the joy on the face of pageants fans. However, all hope got trashed when they saw her into Cocktail trailer. Not that she can’t participate into pageants anymore, but we don’t see a reason as to why would she? Btw, she still has age on her side. In our opinion, she too fits the bill of Miss Universe as she has got slender body frame, exotic westernised Indian beauty, freshness of beauty and great ramp skills. We certainly see her in Top 5 of Miss Universe even if she competes today.

#3-Deepika Padukone:

Same as Diana, Deepika was rumoured to be participating in Miss India before she entered into Movies. She was an established model before she got the fame of being an actress. Her career is on peak and is considered to be one of the most beautiful faces of Bollywood. This dusky Indian beauty can kill her opponents just with her dimple. The sweetness and regal look she possesses, a Miss World pageant would be apt for her. Infact, she can fit the bill of Miss Universe as well, however, we see her more of Miss World beauty where they appreciate dusky Indian looking beauties just like they did for Priyanka Chopra, Ivian Sarcos. Only if she was at Miss World, years back, India would have got their 6^th Miss World.

#2-Alia Bhatt:

This newbie in Bollywood town is making buzz due to her recent release ‘2 States’ where she plays a role of beautiful Tamil girl struggling hard to marry her Punjabi love. The beauty of Alia just radiates like stars that you can do nothing but just notice. She has this bubbly aura and positive outlook that it’s really hard to not notice this girl even in the bunch of people. She is young, fresh, angelic beauty, curvaceous body and slender frame. We believe she can do very well at Miss World as she is in the likes of Sophie Moulds, Ksenia Sukhinova, Megan Young etc. The other pageant we believe she would have done well is Miss International. Miss International looks for a beauty that is tall and has doll like beauty and yes!!! Alia is just so your porcelain doll to win this pageant.

#1-Katrina Kaif:

“Well, the competition ends here…!!!”

This is what the judges would have exclaimed if she was competing for the crown of Miss Universe. Yes, we believe that Katrina was tailor made for Miss Universe from head to toe. Only if she was competing, she would have won it without any competition in our opinion. She is tall, she a beautiful face which appeals universally, she has good ramp skills and she is just full of X-Factor. We dare to say that only if she was competing today, the competition would just have been for the 1^st runners up position. She imbibes that star quality which can’t be taught. She tops our chart and we believe that there would hardly be any denial to this.
