Dr. Priyadarshini Borah from Assam was crowned Rubaru – Supermodel International India at the recently concluded Rubaru Miss India Elite 2016 pageant. The pageant was held on 22 October 2016 at the Presidium Auditorium in Gurugram in National Capital Region of India. Apart from winning the crown, Dr. Borah also won the special award for “Miss Talent” at the said pageant. Rubaru Miss India Elite is an annual beauty pageant in India, produced by the Rubaru Group under the leadership of Sandeep Kumar.
Priyadarshini is a model and doctor by profession. She completed her schooling from St. Thomas English School and went to Ramanujan Junior College and Anandaram Dhekial Phukan College. She holds an M.B.B.S. degree from the Assam Medical College and Hospital and is a certified doctor. Standing at a towering height of 5 foot 9 inches, Dr. Borah, enjoys cooking, painting, reading books and playing outdoors games. She has also won several cooking and painting competitions and was awarded Best Athlete of the year in her college.
Priyadarshini was the winner of Miss Assam Northeast crown before she was crowned Rubaru – Supermodel International India in Gurugram. She will now represent India at the upcoming Supermodel International pageant slated to take place in 2017.
